KNEE
There are many knee pain solutions available to deal with issues such as torn cartilage between the upper and lower leg bones at the knee. Patellar Subluxation, where Movement of the knee cap can become “off track” and cause muscles or ligaments to pull unevenly. A torn ACL can be corrected with an arthroscopic procedure to replace the torn ligament and return a patient to an active lifestyle.
SHOULDER
Many shoulder injuries can be addressed and corrected with arthroscopic procedures such as Impingement where inflammation of the rotator cuff and bursa can cause pain with overhead movements. Other should injuries such as Rotator Cuff Tears and Labral or Slap Tearscan also be addressed with arthroscopic procedures.
SPORTS INJURY
Dr. Nolan specializes in the treatment of sports related injuries in the knee and shoulder and has vast experience treating these injuries with arthroscopy, a common minimally invasive procedure. Arthroscopic procedures can be performed either to evaluate or to treat many knee and shoulder conditions including torn floating cartilage, torn surface cartilage, ACL reconstruction and trimming damaged cartilage.
